Ragtang | 20’s dance reimagined for this century!
Lizzie created Ragtang (derived from Ragtime/Tango) a dance fitness class based around Charleston, Swing Ragtime and Tango music. It’s an easy to follow, upbeat, fun dance class with a distinctly vintage feel.
We begin the class by going through the basic steps without music, so participants can learn the Ragtang Repertoire. If you haven’t done the class before, it gives you a chance to go through the steps more slowly before ‘performing’ the routines. For the regular Ragtangites it’s a good warm up plus new moves can be added in.
Once the music starts, the dancing doesn’t stop. Ragtang is a medium-impact class. It’s a fun workout that’s good for your body, brain and spirit!
This class is suitable for all levels.
